A few nights ago I was sitting on my couch scrolling through social media, brainlessly seeing what the world had to share. My thumb naturally moved across the screen as I glanced at the pictures and messages people had posted throughout the day.

And then something caught my eye—

Fred Rogers has it 100% correct—play is the work of childhood. Play helps children develop character, creativity, self-confidence, and abstract thinking. Play allows children to use their imagination and stretch their brains in new and exciting ways. Play encourages children to follow their dreams, reach for the sky and see the world through their own two eyes.

Now…read those sentences again but replace “play” with “summer camp.”

Summer camp helps children develop character, creativity, self-confidence, and abstract thinking.  Summer camp allows children to use their imagination and stretch their brains in new and exciting ways. Summer camp encourages children to follow their dreams, reach for the sky and see the world through their own two eyes.

Still true? You betcha!

Play is the perfect way to learn. Summer camp is the perfect way to play.

That’s why I love Rainbow Day Camp…it’s the perfect way to play.

Every child deserves camp. – Register here.

Take care RDC,
